01Introduction

Welcome to Lumina Echos, a digital platform created to discover, promote and reward unique talents through short-form video submissions and community engagement. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the platform, including its content, features and services.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not access or use Lumina Echos.

02Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform independently. If you are under 18, you may only use Lumina Echos with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
• You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during registration and to keep those details updated.

03User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for activity carried out through your account.
• You must notify Lumina Echos if you suspect unauthorized access to or use of your account.
• Lumina Echos may suspend, restrict or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or place the platform or its users at risk.

04Content Submission

4.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of the original videos and other content you upload to Lumina Echos. You are responsible for ensuring that you own the content or have all permissions required to upload and share it.

4.2 Licence granted to Lumina Echos

By uploading content, you grant Lumina Echos a worldwide, non-exclusive and royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, distribute, display, publish and promote that content for operating, improving and marketing the platform.

This licence includes use through:

• Lumina Echos social media channels;
• Advertisements and promotional campaigns; and
• Website, application and platform features.

05Content Guidelines

You must not upload content that:

• Infringes copyright, trademark, privacy or other intellectual property rights;
• Contains nudity, graphic violence, hate speech, unlawful material or content that encourages harm;
• Is misleading, fraudulent, defamatory or harmful; or
• Otherwise violates applicable law or these Terms.

Lumina Echos may review, restrict or remove content that violates these rules or is otherwise unsuitable for the platform.

06Voting & Engagement Rules

• All voting and engagement must be genuine, organic and fair.
• Bots, automated tools, fake accounts, purchased votes and other forms of vote manipulation are prohibited.
• Where manipulation or fraud is suspected, Lumina Echos may investigate, remove or reset votes, disqualify an entry, or suspend the accounts involved.

07Rewards & Prizes

• Winners are determined using valid votes, valid views and any additional published competition requirements.
• All rewards remain subject to identity, eligibility and authenticity verification, as well as compliance with platform and competition rules.
• Lumina Echos may delay payment while investigating suspected fraud or rule violations.
• A reward may be withheld or cancelled where fraud, manipulation, ineligibility or another material violation is established.

08Intellectual Property

The Lumina Echos name, logos, branding, platform design, software and original platform materials belong to Lumina Echos or its licensors. They may not be copied, reproduced, modified or used without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

09Copyright Complaints

If you believe that content available on Lumina Echos uses your protected work without authorization, contact us with:

• Your name and contact information;
• A description of the protected work and proof of ownership or authority;
• The location or details of the content complained about; and
• A clear explanation of the alleged infringement.

Lumina Echos will review properly submitted complaints and take appropriate action.

10Account Suspension & Termination

Lumina Echos may suspend or terminate accounts, remove content or restrict access where a user violates these Terms, applicable law, competition rules or the rights and safety of other users.

11Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Lumina Echos is not responsible for user-generated content, disputes between users, or indirect losses including loss of data, revenue, profit or opportunity arising from use of or inability to use the platform.

12Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold Lumina Echos harmless from claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable costs arising from content you upload, your misuse of the platform or your violation of these Terms or another person's rights.

13Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

14Changes to These Terms

Lumina Echos may revise these Terms when necessary to reflect changes to the platform, its rules or applicable legal requirements. Updated Terms will be published on this page. Your continued use of the platform after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
